I’m finishing up my first year at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland. Psychology is my major but I’m still shopping around and finding where God wants to use me.
I don’t really like anything under 50 degrees except icecream. Example A: Winter, not a fan. But if it was my job to sit under a tree in a park and play guitar for hours everyday, I’d be the most content little mama in the entire world.
This year I got to spend my spring break in Nicaragua visiting my best friend who is a First Year Missionary with AIM. I remember sitting in the airport during my four hour layover in Miami when I found out I had been accepted for this trip to Kenya. I’ll never forget the goofy looks I got from everyone around me as I shot straight up out of my seat and threw my hands up. But what I will remember and treasure even more is the constant and encouraging feeling of confirmation that God filled my heart with that entire week. He has big things planned for the people of Kibera and for our team as well. I can’t wait to really get to know all of you in less than a month!
You can add me on facebook if you would like 🙂
