Hey, everybody! πŸ™‚ My name is Dasha, and I am currently a LPN nursing student in Port Richey, FL, where I live (it’s near Tampa). I am going to be done in December, and I can’t wait πŸ™‚ I am going for nursing because I plan to use it on medical missions trips in the future.  As I started the program, I also fell in love with the idea of helping sick people, and I see it as an avenue to portray Christ.  God has been increasingly pressing upon my heart to get started in missions, and not just wait to be done with my nursing school and getting established first, etc. I have been on a few trips before, but they have all been in the U.S. I am really looking forward to God growing my ministry for Him, and learning about witnessing to others from different countries.  I have wanted to go to Africa for a while, and it seems that God is opening a way for me to do that πŸ™‚  I currently attend a church down here where I live, and am involved with the college-age group there.  I also sing for praise and worship.  Before that, I helped out with youth group for about three years or so, and absolutely loved it.  I am looking to get involved with the youth group at my new church hopefully soon πŸ™‚

Other, somewhat random facts about myself: I love doing things at church, helping out with whatever events are going on; snowboarding; reading; singing; horsebackriding; and racquetball. I am really looking forward to meeting y’all and working together to spread Christ πŸ™‚
