Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Dobbe and I'm from Appleton Wisconsin (on the left). I am humbled and amazed that this trip is a reality - I am very much looking forward to it and am praying for opened eyes
and a heart to serve. As I have become more obedient in my faith I have
strove to follow God's will for my life. I'm willing to be a servant of
God; there is no doubt in my mind that He has called me to work for
Him. I recently read this quote, "If your dream does not involve
changing the course of somebody's eternal destiny, then your dream is
too small." I fully believe this and my hope is that God will use us on
this mission and in the future for His glory. I went through a season
in my life of much rebellion, but God faithfully and loving me brought
me back. I understood for the first time what it meant to be redeemed
by His blood - that I was bought with a price, that my life was not my
own, and that Jesus didn't just want to be my Savior, but the Lord of
my life and the lover of my soul. And that's when everything changed
for me. What else...I am a fan of herbal tea and herbal things, I love the outdoors and anything outdoorsy, and I love studying God's Word - it is
alive and deep and anything but tame. I can't wait to spend an amazing month alongside you all in service to our King!
